【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthecomposition,thermalperformance,andphysicalpropertiesofhigh-temperaturefiberthermalinsulationforuseattemperaturesfromambientto3000x00B0;F(1649x00B0;C).1.2Thedry,loosehigh-temperaturefibersshallbepneumaticallyconveyedtoanozzlewheretheyaremixedwithawater-basedchemicalbinder.1.3Thepneumaticallyapplied,high-temperaturefiberinsulationisintendedforuseinindustrialapplicationsonflat,ornearlyflat,surfaces.Itisnotintendedforuseonpipes.1.4Thisspecificationdoesnotaddresstherequirementsforfire-resistiveinsulation,butitdoesnotprecludethismaterialx2019;suseinthatcapacity.1.5Thisisamaterialspecificationonlyandisnotintendedtocovermethodsofapplicationthatareprovidedbythemanufacturer.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
