【摘要】:WithinthecontextoftheISO/IEEE11073familyofstandardsfordevicecommunication,thisstandardestablishesanormativedefinitionofcommunicationbetweenpersonaltelehealthglucosemeterdevicesandcomputeengines(e.g.cellphones,personalcomputers,personalhealthappliances,andsettopboxes)inamannerthatenablesplug-and-playinteroperability.Itleveragesappropriateportionsofexistingstandards,includingISO/IEEE11073terminology,informationmodels,applicationprofilestandards,andtransportstandards.Itspecifiestheuseofspecifictermcodes,formats,andbehaviorsintelehealthenvironmentsrestrictingoptionalityinbaseframeworksinfavorofinteroperability.Thisstandarddefinesacommoncoreofcommunicationfunctionalityforpersonaltelehealthglucosemeters.Thisstandardaddressesaneedforanopenlydefined,independentstandardforcontrollinginformationexchangetoandfrompersonalhealthdevicesandcomputeengines(e.g.cellphones,personalcomputers,personalhealthappliances,andsettopboxes).Interoperabilityisthekeytogrowingthepotentialmarketforthesedevicesandtoenablingpeopletobebetterinformedparticipantsinthemanagementoftheirhealth.
