【摘要】:Providesinformationfortheevaluationoftheconstructionandoperationofhouseholdrefrigeratorsandfreezersforthefieldconversion/retrofittoanalternativerefrigerant,includingarefrigerantthathasbeenidentifiedashavingflammablecharacteristics.Theserequirementsareprimarityintendedtobeusedtoinvestigatetheretrofitofexistingequipmenttoalternativerefrigerantsforcompliancewiththerequirementsinthisdocument.TheserequirementsapplytoequipmentthathasbeenpreviouslyinvestigatedandfoundtocomplywithanapllicableULStandardofSafetysincetheyear1973.ThisstandardwasoriginallylistedforpublicreviewintheOctober23,1998issueofStandardsAction.Itisbeingresubmittedduetosubstantivechanges.
