Scope: Form:This specification covers hydraulic fluid resistant Butadiene-Acrylonitrile (NBR) rubber used to produce seals, gaskets and other molded products.1.2Application:This material is used typically for contact with synthetic hydraulic fluids conforming to MIL-PRF-83282, MIL-PRF-46170 and MIL-PRF-87257, but usage is not limited to such applications. Each application should be considered separately. This material has a service temperature range of -65 to +275茂聜掳F (-54 to +135茂聜掳C).1.3Safety - Hazardous Materials:While the materials, methods, applications and processes described or referenced in this specification may involve the use of hazardous materials, this specification does not address the hazards involved in such use.
